This isn’t just a gym.
It’s a reclamation
movement
built for anyone who believes belonging should be the standard, not the exception.
More than muscle. we’re here to be strong, to celebrate and to connect.
T Gen started as a need. A need for space that welcomed trans, queer, neurodivergent and marginalised people who were tired of shrinking. What began mid-transition and mid-chaos has become a community: part gym, part reclamation movement.
Here, strength is about showing up with grit, honouring your body, and finding a place where you don’t have to fight for your right to belong.
We train hard, but what holds us together are our values:
Integrity: showing up for ourselves and each other.
Compassion: leading with care, not judgement.
Courage: facing challenges and growing through them.
Humility: respecting every journey, every body.
Grit: passion plus perseverance, moving with conviction.
Meet #TeamTgen
Hi, it’s me, Coach Daddy 🖖
Founder. Changemaker. The reason T Gen exists.
T Gen is so special to me. Built this place because I needed it.
Because nothing made space for people like us, trans, queer, neurodivergent, & marginalised strong as hell and tired of shrinking.
This isn’t just a gym. It’s a reclamation movement.
And if you’ve trained with me, you already know: I’m not your average PT.
It’s not my job to tell you what your goals are.
I don’t care how many burpees you can/can’t bang out.
I care if you feel safe.
I care if you feel strong.
I care if you leave here standing taller, feeling more capable and breathing better than you walked in.
I care about real-world truth, not Insta lies.
I built T Gen mid-transition, mid-unravelling, mid-trans rage because I knew if I didn’t find a way to process my shit, I’d end up hurting people I care about.
Fitness saved my life, but not for the reasons you think.
Not for the mirror selfies or the barbell numbers.
It saved me because it taught me agency.
A place to anchor when the world tried to pull me under.
A practice to calm my mind.
Now I offer that same anchor to you.
My specialty?
Coaching leaders.
Coaching the ‘ill never be able to do that”, “too broken,” “too unfit,” “too much” crew.
Helping folks rebuild trust in their bodies when the world taught them to dissociate.
I’ll make sure you are never afraid of navigating your body & gyms ever again.
At #teamtgen, we lift heavy so life doesn’t feel as hard.
We are trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary, multi-award-winning coaches.
We rest smarter because we understand this looks different for us all.
We take up space but also give space because we remember how this journey began for us all.
We train in community, and we never leave each other behind.
We are a team that shows up, puts in the work, asks for help, and does the hard things … Together.
Let’s build a body of your own design, a mind that you trust, and a life that feels like yours
Much love,
Coach Daddy (Sam)
Identity: Redacted ❌
Code name: Queen Binch Unit
Mission: Cultivate the anabolism of LGBT+ community
Mission parameters: All parameters removed. Success by any means necessarY
My ancestors put me here for one very clear reason - to help build up the most staunch and relentlessly authentic lgbt+ army history has ever seen, and lord knows there’s not a thing that will stop me from doing everything in my power to complete my mission.
My name is Gia.
My pronouns are they/she. And I swear on all that is hot and gae that you will feel more connected, confident, and resilient in your body from our time spent working together.
When life’s good n chill we’ll be steadily making gains, but when shit hits the fan and you’re having a grueling time trying to maintain an affirming movement practice, that’s when you’ll realise the importance of having us by your side, dedicated to making the journey consistent, engaging, and full of joy!
Affirming movement is my strongest and most precious tool for maintaining my health. I use it as a framework to manage chronic pain (shoutout to my fam out thurr who are just learning the normal amount of pain is zero), I use it to manage my mental health, and I use it to connect with our community and make friends! Lord knows I need those connections to keep me sane year round lmao
When I’m not helping you grow into the most confident and capable version of yourself I’m probably watching Ghost Rider or making reference to The Scorpion King and wondering to myself “Do the people of this world not see that this is why we’re all gae? Lmao”.
Trust me it’s not the drag queens who made me like this, it was Memnon’s slutty little generals and Kate Beckinsale in Underworld.
Ok…maybe the drag queens also had a bit to do with it.
If there’s one thing I want to leave you with, it’s the belief that we all deserve to take the path less travelled, BUT, we need to couple that belief with the understanding that we need support to take those steps.
We all have changes we want to make in our lives; it’s time we start letting ourselves be supported with as many of those changes as possible!
Stay hot. Stay fierce.
Coach Gia 🔥
Q.B.U
HOYA, I’m Ezra (he/him/they) and I’m Captain all-rounder here at #teamtgen.
Working closely with Members and Coaches, my role makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, feels warm and welcoming on the floor, and the team vibes exceed expectations.
I’m usually running up and down, pivoting from one role to the next. That being said, I’m always available and happy to have a yarn. (If you can catch me, hehe)
About me, me me:
I was born and raised in Naarm but come from a rich cultural background of Serbian and Samoan heritage. This means I was born to love Fighting (MMA), Tennis and Rugby. When I’m not in the gym, you’ll find me at home with my partner Paige, nesting, telling my one of my 3 cats off, meme-stimming, quoting The Simpsons or watching some kind of sports.
Why #teamtgen?
My journey with #teamtgen started as a member over six years ago, when I was just beginning my own affirmation and movement journey. Something was missing back then, and I found it here. I needed somewhere to hold space, guide me, and help me build confidence in movement and in myself.
Whether you’re stepping under a barbell for the first time or finding your way back to your body, my goal is to help you feel strong, safe, and celebrated 💪🏽
Much love,
Coach Ezra
Stronger together
I have never ever in all my years of fitness ever experienced a club so supportive and diverse as TGen.
As someone who is neurodivergent and has sensory needs, the gym is a beautiful, safe space to move my body and have all the support I need from the trainers, who have a wealth of knowledge. And as a fat queer person as well, I’ve never felt so validated in a fitness space, and feel like this is my little buff family. There has never been a single drop of fatphobia here, and I feel incredibly safe.
I love TGen an extraordinary amount. You might too.
